The incident happened when Steven Homan, 29, of Minster, was operating a tan Chevrolet Silverado, and Gehret’s grey Honda Accord collided with it after failing to yield at a stop sign on Bulcher Road.

Homan’s truck tipped onto its side as a result of the incident, which sent both cars off the road and into a nearby field.

Homan and his young passenger were not seriously hurt and were able to leave their car on their own.
