As Kate Middleton continues to work on her health amid her cancer treatment, the Princess of Wales has been delighted by the amount of support she's received following the reveal of her illness, according to Queen Camilla.

Camilla made her first public appearance since Middleton's cancer reveal on March 27, meeting with people at Shrewsbury Farmers’ Market for a tour of the monthly mart and chatting with its attendees. There, Camilla received two handmade gifts for Middleton from two girls, ages 10 and 6.

"Queen Camilla is in Shrewsbury today where she met two young girls who made posters for the Princess of Wales, which she promised to deliver for them," royal expert, Rebecca English tweeted on Wednesday. "Her Majesty said: ‘I know that Catherine is thrilled by all the kind wishes and support.’"

Matt Wilkinson, royal reporter for The Sun, shared that the two girls showed off "their posters for Princess of Wales today in Shrewsbury and Queen Camilla replied: “I shall send these on to Catherine she will be thrilled.”

Middleton shared the news of her cancer diagnosis in an intimate video on March 22, explaining that the disease was found as she was recovering from abdominal surgery.

"In January, I underwent major abdominal surgery in London, and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous," she said in the video. "The surgery was successful. However, tests after the operation found cancer had been present. My medical team, therefore, advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy, and I’m now in the early stages of that treatment."

The princess continued, "We hope that you’ll understand that as a family, we now need some time, space, and privacy while I complete my treatment. My work has always brought me a deep sense of joy, and I look forward to being back when I am able. But for now, I must focus on making a full recovery."
