Release information

This card was included in the XY expansion, first released in the Japanese Collection Y. It was later reprinted in the Japanese M Charizard-EX Mega Battle Deck, Hyper Metal Chain Deck, and Super Legend Set: Xerneas-EX & Yveltal-EX. It was later reprinted in the English Generations expansion, originating from the Japanese BREAK Starter Pack. A Mirror Reverse Holofoil reprint was included in the Japanese Premium Champion Pack. An unnumbered XY-P Promotional print was 1 of 9 cards available in special packs sent to Japanese Event Organizers in July 2016 for distribution in official events hosted by them. This print features the Event Organizer logo in the bottom right corner of the illustration.

Trivia

This card has been banned from all sanctioned Pokémon TCG tournaments using the Expanded format since October 4, 2019 in Japan and November 15, 2019 internationally as it was found to create an unbalanced playing environment. The concern was a specific combo in Japanese tournaments with the help of this card that dwindled the opponent's hand up to no cards on their first turn.

Origin
